Nope, it isn’t a typo! Out of all the work we have done on this lovely house, the kitchen has gone through the most transformations. When we first redid the kitchen we replaced the Jennair cooktop with a new Jennair, the oven with 2 Kitchen Aid ovens and a Kitchen Aid fridge. At the time we had to spend a shitload of money on more important things – like rewiring and plumbing haha.
But we knew if we ever choose to sell this place down the road, we needed to up our game to top of the line appliances. Five years later, we decided to bite the bullet.
Well, hello there Wolf!
Here is the original kitchen, complete with sherbet green paint.
And here was the ‘new’ kitchen we’ve had for 5 years:
Then we decided we hated the dark cabinets and had them refaced a year ago.
This final redo was started last summer. First we had to remove the old appliances. Some cabinets had to be redone.
And the final reveal:
We opted to install a double oven with the microwave on the counter. A triple stack of ovens and microwave – without the bottom drawer – would have placed the microwave too high.
The new new gas cooktop has a popup downdraft behind it.
More storage space below the cooktop instead of the oven.
And a built in SubZero fridge:
Cooking with these Wolf appliances has been an absolute dream! In fact, I have been using them so often, I need to clean the ovens badly! Enjoy!

Great redo! Love the new or old light over the window. Any new projects on your list?
Enjoy reading your posts.
Thanks John, and no – after 5 years we are officially DONE! No more projects besides some small decorating ones and gardening.
It looks great!
I love the backsplash tile! Can you share where you got it, maufacturer, color, etc. We are rebuilding a 1971 Shasta trailer. Those colors arr perfect!
Where did the tile come from? Love it!!!
I custom designed it myself through Susan Jablon Mosaics online. They liked my design so much they recreated it and sell it here https://www.susanjablon.com/1690001.html. I would get a sample, though because they appear to have used white and I used off white. https://www.susanjablon.com/1690001.html
